Waterloo @ Toronto

So close and yet so far. The Varsity Blues football team fell 26-21 versus the visiting Waterloo Warriors in their final game of the season this Saturday, marking the end of their 2023 campaign.

It was a back and forth battle that came down to the final 30 seconds and the final possession, but a Waterloo interception put the icing on the game. The Warriors kept it close all game with a second half push and a kicker who seemed like he couldn't miss - even from long range. Toronto had a strong day on the ground, and QB play in the second half was a real bright spot as well.

The OUA playoffs begin next weekend. More details to come.
